ITINERARY
Namaste—welcome to India.
Your journey begins in Delhi, where ancient history, sacred tradition, and modern chaos exist side by side in one unforgettable city.
Upon arrival, our team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, rest, or begin exploring at your own pace.
If you arrive early, step into the calm symmetry of Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that quietly introduces you to the grandeur of Mughal architecture. Or dive straight into Delhi’s sensory energy with a rickshaw ride through backstreet markets, where spices, sweets, and street food define the rhythm of daily life.
In the evening, meet your group for the official trip briefing, followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. This is your first introduction to the rich, complex flavors of North Indian cuisine—and the beginning of your journey with your travel crew.
Included Meals: Dinner
Arrival: Airport pickup included all day (arrive anytime before 4:00 PM)
Today, you experience the real heartbeat of Delhi.
After breakfast, we head into Old Delhi with your expert local guide. Navigate the city like a local—on foot, by metro, and through the famous lanes of Chandni Chowk, where life moves in constant motion.
Ride a traditional rickshaw through narrow, bustling streets filled with spice markets, jewelry stalls, and centuries-old shops. Visit the iconic Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, before stepping into the peaceful spiritual atmosphere of Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib—a powerful contrast that reveals Delhi’s layered identity.
Enjoy a traditional thali lunch before departing the capital and heading south via the Yamuna Expressway toward Agra.
As the city fades behind you, watch the landscape shift from urban intensity to rural India.
Arrive in Agra and check into your premium hotel. Tonight is for rest—because tomorrow brings one of the most iconic sunrise moments on Earth.
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch (Traditional Thali)
Travel Time: Approx. 4 hours via private AC vehicle
Wake before dawn for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Step into the quiet morning air as the first light rises over the Taj Mahal, casting soft pink and golden reflections across its white marble surface. This is the most peaceful and magical time to experience one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
With your local expert, discover the best vantage points for crowd-free photography and learn the story behind this monument of love and legacy.
After breakfast, continue to the imposing Agra Fort—a vast red sandstone fortress that once served as the seat of the Mughal Empire. Explore its hidden courtyards, royal chambers, and panoramic views of the Taj Mahal in the distance.
The afternoon is intentionally relaxed. Rest, recharge, or enjoy the hotel before tomorrow’s journey into India’s most vibrant cultural celebration: Holi in Vrindavan.
Included Meals: Breakfast
Today is the reason travelers from around the world dream of visiting India.
We journey to the sacred town of Vrindavan, widely regarded as one of the most iconic places on Earth to experience Holi. As the birthplace of Lord Krishna, this ancient city transforms into a vibrant celebration of color, music, devotion, and pure joy unlike anything you've ever experienced.
With our expert local guide, we'll make our way into the heart of the action near the legendary Banke Bihari Temple, where thousands gather to celebrate one of India's most beloved traditions. Expect clouds of vibrant gulal powder filling the air, music echoing through the streets, locals inviting you to join the festivities, and an atmosphere that feels more like a once-in-a-lifetime celebration than a festival.
This is not a performance for tourists. This is Holi at its source—raw, authentic, exhilarating, and unforgettable.
Dance in the streets. Celebrate alongside locals. Capture incredible photos. Make memories you'll be talking about for years.
By late afternoon, we'll return to Agra by private transfer, where you can wash off the colors, relax by the pool, and relive the day's highlights with your new travel crew.

FAQS
The trip starts and ends in New Delhi.
Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
We cap groups at a maximum of 12 travelers.
This keeps the experience personal, flexible, and far from the rushed, crowded feel of typical group tours.
We stay in carefully selected, highly rated 4- and 5-star accommodations throughout the trip. Hotel styles may vary depending on the destination and local experience, rather than maintaining the exact same hotel category at every stop.
Rooms are standard and shared with fellow travelers of the same gender, typically 2–3 people per room with twin or single beds.
Some hotels may have different bed configurations (for example, one larger bed and one single bed). In these cases, guests are expected to rotate fairly throughout the trip so everyone has an equal experience.
Traveling with a friend, partner, or family member? Let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to place you together.
Prefer your own space? Private room upgrades are available for an additional fee of $750. Availability is limited, so we recommend booking in advance. Requests to change room arrangements during the trip are subject to availability and additional cost.
Please note: our trips prioritize experience and location over luxury consistency. If having the same hotel standard at every stop is important to you, this trip may not be the best fit.
Yes. Our trips are open to all genders.
Room assignments are based on same-gender sharing. Solo female travelers are paired at no additional cost. Solo male travelers are paired when another male traveler is available; if no pairing is possible, a single-room supplement will apply.
All room arrangements are confirmed prior to final payment.
Book your spot with a $300 deposit, then pay the remaining balance 90 days before the trip or in flexible installments. The full trip must be paid prior to departure.
If you’d like to set up an installment plan, email us at info@gagagoapp.com after booking and we’ll get you started!
The Varanasi Add-On is a 2-night optional extension to our main India itinerary. It lets you experience one of the world's oldest living cities, deeply immersed in India's spiritual heart, before returning smoothly back to the capital.

Booking & Payment
How to Book: Secure your spot on the main India itinerary first. Once confirmed, contact our team directly at info@gagagoapp.com to officially add the Varanasi extension to your profile.
Payment Structure: Because regional flights, local boutique lodging, and specific permits must be locked in immediately, payment for the Varanasi Add-On is handled separately from your core trip invoice. Price: $650 per person (Includes round-trip domestic flights from Delhi)
There is no fixed calendar deadline to join this trip, and registration may close at any time once capacity is reached. You can secure your spot instantly with a deposit.
To maintain a high-quality experience, we intentionally limit this trip to a maximum of 12 travelers. We also partner with carefully selected hotels and experiences that have limited availability, which means registration may close before the group reaches its maximum size.
Most of our travelers book as soon as they learn about the trip. Booking early not only helps secure your place on the trip, but also gives you ample time to request time off, plan ahead, and access the best flight options and pricing before departure. If this trip is on your list, we recommend reserving your spot early to avoid disappointment.
Yes, your money is safe! If the trip is canceled by us, including due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement by the deadline (typically three months before the trip), you'll receive a full refund.
We understand plans can change. A $300 non-refundable deposit secures your spot. You may cancel within 72 hours of booking, and any payments made beyond the deposit will be fully refunded. The remaining balance is due 90 days before the trip. Cancellations made less than 90 days before departure are non-refundable. For full details, please review our cancellation policy here.
We do not handle visa arrangements. However, we’re happy to help you gather information about visa requirements based on your nationality for your chosen destination, ensuring you have a clear understanding of what’s needed.
Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, personal injury, medical and repatriation expenses, evacuation, personal liability, and loss of personal property before traveling with us. We can also recommend travel insurance options based on your country of residence to ensure you're fully covered. Make sure your policy also covers any activities you'll be participating in, especially adventure or high-risk activities, for all the adrenaline junkies out there!
For most of the trip, the rule of thumb is smart-casual, lightweight, and culturally respectful. Because we’ll be exploring active temples, historic palaces, and bustling markets, you’ll want to pack pieces that keep you cool while keeping your shoulders and knees covered.
Here is your essential packing strategy broken down by the trip’s two distinct phases:
1. Daily Sightseeing & Exploring
The Go-To Outfit: Lightweight linen pants, maxi dresses, midi skirts, and breathable cotton t-shirts or blouses.
The Sacred Sites: Both men and women need to cover their shoulders and knees when entering temples. Carrying a lightweight scarf or pashmina in your daypack is a lifesaver for quickly draping over your shoulders.
Footwear: You’ll be taking your shoes off frequently at historic and religious sites. Pack comfortable, easily slip-on-slip-off walking shoes, loafers, or sturdy sandals.
2. The Holi Festival Day (Day 4)
Holi is beautifully chaotic, and the gulal (colored powder) will get absolutely everywhere. This is part of the magic! To get those iconic photos, you'll want to pack specifically for this day:
The Holi Uniform: Pack a plain, inexpensive all-white outfit (a white t-shirt, tunic, or linen shirt paired with white pants or leggings) that you are 100% okay with permanently staining. Wearing white is the ultimate tradition because it makes the vibrant colors pop beautifully in photos.
Footwear for the Festival: Wear closed-toe, older sneakers that have good grip for walking on wet street surfaces, and that you are ready to toss or deeply wash after the festival.
Pro Accessories: Bring a cheap pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from the flying powder, and a hair wrap, bandana, or hat if you want to keep the colors out of your hair!
The official currency of India is the Indian Rupee (INR), represented by the symbol ₹.
When it comes to spending money on the ground, India is a unique mix of high-tech digital systems and traditional cash-only markets. Here is everything you need to know to handle your finances smoothly:
1. Cash is King for the Small Things
While premium hotels and high-end restaurants in Delhi and Jaipur accept international credit cards (Visa and Mastercard are most widely accepted; American Express is less common), you will absolutely need cash for local market shopping, street stalls, and small purchases during Holi.
2. How to Get Rupees
ATMs on Arrival: The easiest and safest way to get cash is by using a major bank ATM once you land at the airport in Delhi, or at our first heritage hotel. Be sure to notify your home bank of your travel dates so your card isn't flagged.
Currency Exchange: You can also bring crisp, clean US Dollar bills to exchange at the airport or through our hotel desks, though ATM withdrawals typically offer better exchange rates.
3. Recommended Daily Budget & Tipping
Since your premium accommodations, private transport, and major landmark entries are entirely covered in your expedition price, you only need to budget for personal shopping, alcoholic beverages, and daily lunches or dinners not specified in the itinerary.
Insider Budgeting Tip: We recommend budgeting roughly $30 to $50 USD per day in local cash for lunches, drinks, tipping, and market shopping. This removes the guesswork and ensures you can navigate the local markets with ease.
Absolutely—and we highly recommend it! Over 90% of our travelers come solo. Our trips are designed to help you connect, make new friends from around the world, and share unforgettable experiences. Whether you come alone, with a friend, partner, or family, you’ll feel right at home from day one.
Our tours are designed for adventurous travelers aged 18 to 45, with most guests typically between 21 and 35 years old. However, anyone with a sense of adventure is welcome, as long as they are 18 or older!
Gagago trips are designed for independent, respectful, and adaptable travelers who enjoy shared positive experiences and group energy. To protect the integrity of the experience for everyone on the ground, our itineraries are structured around a curated group flow rather than individual customization.
We carefully review all registrations to ensure every traveler shares our core values of respect and adaptability.
Our goal is simple: to bring together like-minded people for extraordinary adventures, meaningful connections, and unforgettable memories that will stay with you long after the trip ends.
