Arrival Flight: Fly internationally into Dar es Salaam (DAR) or Zanzibar (ZNZ). (Dar es Salaam often has the most budget-friendly international options; from there, a quick 20-minute domestic flight or ferry connects you to Zanzibar).

Departure Flight: Fly internationally out of Dar es Salaam (DAR). At the end of your safari, we drop you off in Arusha, where you can take a quick domestic flight back to DAR to catch your international flight home. (Alternatively, you can look for international flights departing directly out of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) near Arusha).

Option B: Booking the Safari Only

Arrival Flight:

Fly directly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar. Alternatively, if you arrive via mainland Tanzania, fly into Dar es Salaam (DAR) and take a quick 20-minute domestic hop to ZNZ, or catch the high-speed ferry to Stone Town. We recommend arriving by early afternoon on Day 1 so you can settle into your boutique hotel and enjoy our evening welcome drinks.

Departure Flight:

Fly out of Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) on the final day of your trip. If your international return leaves from Dar es Salaam (DAR) or Nairobi (NBO), we can easily arrange your domestic connection flight to align perfectly with your homeward journey. Private transfers from your beachfront resort to ZNZ are fully included.
