ITINERARY
Your Brazil adventure begins in the heart of Rio. After arrival and check-in, we’ll gather as a group for the first time to kick off the journey with a welcome dinner overlooking the city’s vibrant energy. Expect stunning ocean views, tropical vibes, and our first round of caipirinhas as you bond with your new travel family.
Today we explore the most iconic landmarks in Brazil. We’ll start with a visit to Christ the Redeemer before taking in the legendary panoramic views from Sugarloaf Mountain. Afterward, we’ll dive into Rio’s vibrant culture, exploring colorful neighborhoods, the famous Escadaria Selarón mosaic staircase, and the stunning coastline.
In the evening, we head to Pedra do Sal—the historic birthplace of samba. Here, we’ll join the locals for an evening of live music, dancing, and the infectious energy of Rio's street culture.
Experience a quintessential Rio beach day. We’ll spend the day soaking up the world-famous energy of Ipanema and Copacabana. Whether you’re swimming, tanning, or joining in on a game of beach volleyball, it’s all about relaxing with a fresh caipirinha in hand.
As the day winds down, we’ll head to Arpoador Rock to join the locals for a Rio tradition: watching one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the world.
In the evening, we’ll explore Rio through its food scene — tasting local favorites, discovering hidden spots, and experiencing the energy that makes this city unforgettable.
Today starts with a morning hike to Morro Dois Irmãos for one of the most iconic panoramic views over Rio — where you’ll see beaches, mountains, and favelas all from above.
After the hike, you’ll have free time to dive into an optional bucket-list experience or keep it local. You can opt for a breathtaking helicopter tour over Rio’s peaks and Christ the Redeemer, or try Asa Delta (hang gliding) to soar above the coastline and land right on the sand. If you’d rather keep it low-key, it’s the perfect time to relax on Leblon beach, browse the local boutiques, or take a scenic stroll through the Jardim Botânico. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just soaking up the sun, there’s no wrong way to spend a Rio afternoon.
At night, we head to Lapa — Rio’s nightlife district filled with live samba, street parties, and music everywhere.
Today we explore a different side of Rio through a guided cultural visit to Rocinha, one of Brazil’s most well-known communities. This experience focuses on local perspective, culture, and storytelling, giving us a deeper understanding of life in Rio beyond the postcard image.
We’ll explore the neighborhood with a local guide, hear real stories, and experience the energy, resilience, and culture that make this part of the city so unique.
In the afternoon, the rest of the day is yours to slow down and enjoy Rio at your own pace — relax at the beach, grab an açaí or fresh juice, explore local cafés, or simply unwind with the group after a full morning of experiences.
Tonight is a relaxed evening in Rio as we prepare for our journey to Paraty tomorrow.
This morning, we take a shared transfer from Rio to Paraty, traveling along Brazil’s stunning coastline for approximately 4.5 hours. The drive itself is an experience, surrounded by lush mountains, dense jungle, and endless ocean views.
A charming colonial coastal town, Paraty is famous for its cobblestone streets, colorful architecture, and a laid-back atmosphere tucked perfectly between the mountains and the sea. After check-in, the afternoon is free to slow down and explore. You can wander through the historic center, relax by the water, and enjoy the peaceful pace of the town with the group. In the evening, we’ll come together for a relaxed dinner filled with great food, music, and those signature easygoing vibes.
Today is our final full day together in Paraty—and we make it count. We’ll slow down and lean into the magic of this coastal town, wandering through cobblestone streets lined with colorful colonial architecture, hidden cafés, local boutiques, and art-filled corners that feel frozen in time.
There is plenty of time to relax by the waterfront, swim, or simply soak up the calm coastal atmosphere with the group. If you’re looking for one last adventure, optional experiences are available, including a visit to the stunning beaches and natural pools of Trindade or a local cachaça tasting to sample the region's famous spirit.
As the sun sets, we come together for our farewell dinner. It’s a night to celebrate the memories, the new friendships, and the unforgettable moments we’ve shared throughout the journey. One last night together in Brazil before we begin our journey home tomorrow.
This morning, we enjoy a final slow wake-up in Paraty before taking a shared transfer back to Rio (approximately 4.5 hours) along Brazil’s scenic coastline.
It’s a final chance to take it all in — the landscapes, the memories, and the people who made the journey so special.
We recommend booking departing flights after 5 PM to allow enough time for the transfer back to Rio and airport check-in.
Arrive in Rio in time for onward flights and departures, ending the trip with unforgettable moments and friendships that last far beyond Brazil.
