Get ready for 12 days of epic adventures ahead!
Day 2: Exploring the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian MuseumOur first full day in Egypt starts with an exciting dive into Cairo’s history! We’ll visit the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll learn about the incredible history and engineering behind these ancient structures, then continue to the iconic Sphinx, a symbol of Egypt’s enduring mystery.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. You’ll have the chance to see the golden treasures of Tutankhamun, the royal mummies, and statues of pharaohs that have stood the test of time.
In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore Cairo’s vibrant streets. You might want to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the city’s most famous markets. Wander through its bustling alleyways, where you can shop for handcrafted souvenirs, jewelry, spices, and traditional Egyptian wares.
Day 3: Discovering Saqqara, Old Cairo, Al-Muizz Street, and Night Flight to LuxorOur journey begins with a visit to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, the world’s oldest pyramid, offering a glimpse into Egypt’s early history. 🏺✨
Next, we’ll explore Old Cairo’s charming streets, including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, followed by Al-Muizz Street, lined with medieval Islamic architecture.
We’ll end at the Saladin Citadel to admire the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque and its panoramic views of Cairo.
In the evening, we head to the airport for a night flight to Luxor. After a short flight (about an hour), we’ll transfer to a luxurious 5-star Nile-front resort in Luxor, where you can rest and prepare for the exciting discoveries awaiting you in the ancient city of Thebes!
Day 4: Exploring Luxor – Valley of the Kings and Temple of HatshepsutOur Luxor adventure begins with a visit to the stunning Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs rest in beautifully decorated tombs. Learn about their fascinating history and elaborate burial practices as you explore this legendary necropolis.
Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel dedicated to Egypt’s first female pharaoh, featuring stunning terraces and intricate reliefs depicting her reign.
Afterward, we’ll stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering stone statues that once stood at the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.

Day 6: Luxor to Aswan – Nubian Village, Temple of Philae, and Sunset Felucca RideWe leave Luxor for Aswan, stopping at the Aswan High Dam to learn about its transformative impact on Egypt’s economy and agriculture.
Next, we’ll take a boat ride to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, where you can admire its stunning views and intricate carvings.
After lunch, we’ll head to a traditional Nubian village to experience its vibrant culture and colorful architecture.
In the evening, relax at an authentic Nubian hotel in the village, and enjoy a scenic felucca ride on the Nile as the sun sets.
Day 7: Aswan – Abu Simbel ExcursionWe start early to embark on a full-day excursion to Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological sites. The journey takes about 3 hours each way, but the stunning views of the desert landscape along the way make it worthwhile.
Upon arrival, you'll be awestruck by the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, carved into the mountainside. Discover the incredible history behind these magnificent structures, which were relocated to avoid flooding from Lake Nasser, and admire the impressive colossal statues that stand guard at the entrance. Learn about the fascinating story of their construction and the significance of the temple’s alignment with the sun.
After exploring the temples, enjoy your lunch as we make our way back to Aswan. Upon returning, you'll have free time to relax at your hotel or explore the vibrant local markets.
Day 8: Aswan to Luxor – Exploring the West BankWe head back to Luxor to explore the wonders of the West Bank.
Our first stop will be the Valley of the Queens, where you can explore the tombs of the queens of the 19th and 20th dynasties, including the beautiful tomb of Queen Nefertari, known for its stunning wall paintings and intricate details.
Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III. This massive complex is known for its well-preserved reliefs and impressive architecture, giving insight into the life and times of one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your leisure, or explore the vibrant local area. Spend the night in a cozy West Bank hotel, perfectly located right by the hot air balloon launch!
Day 9: Hot Air Balloon and Luxor to HurghadaStart the day with an optional hot air balloon ride for breathtaking sunrise views over Luxor, or simply watch the balloons rise from the terrace!
Afterwards, embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, known for its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, with beautiful desert landscape views along the way.
Upon arrival, check into your beachfront resort, where you can unwind and take in the stunning views of the Red Sea. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring the beach.

Day 12: Return to Cairo & DepartureAfter breakfast, we’ll check out from our hotel in Hurghada and embark on a scenic journey back to Cairo, approximately a 6 hour drive. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have some final time to explore the city or shop for souvenirs. We will then transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure.

DO YOU HAVE AN AGE LIMIT FOR TOURS?Our tours are designed for adventurous travelers aged 18 to 45, with most guests typically between 21 and 35 years old. However, anyone with a sense of adventure is welcome, as long as they are 18 or older!
WHAT IS THE GROUP SIZE FOR EACH TRIP?Each trip typically has between 4 to 15 travelers, allowing for a more personalized and immersive experience.
WHAT KIND OF ACCOMMODATION IS INCLUDED ON THIS TRIP?We stay in double-occupancy rooms at carefully selected accommodations, sharing with other trip members. WHAT IS THE CURRENCY?Egypt’s currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP), often written as LE. It’s best to carry some cash for small purchases, though credit cards are widely accepted in major cities and tourist areas.
IS MY MONEY PROTECTED?Yes, your money is safe! If the trip is canceled by us, including due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement by the deadline (typically two months before the trip), you'll receive a full refund.
CANCELLATION POLICYWe understand plans can change. A $200 deposit secures your spot, and you can cancel within 72 hours for a full refund. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip. If you cancel 60+ days before, you'll get a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trip are non-refundable. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?In April, Egypt is warm with cooler evenings, so pack lightweight, breathable clothes like cotton shirts and light pants or skirts, plus a sweater for night. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as are sun protection items like a hat and sunscreen. For visits to religious or historical sites, covering shoulders and knees is recommended.
