Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, take some time to relax or explore the nearby area at your leisure.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner, where you can meet your fellow travelers and get a taste of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Prepare for the exciting journey that lies ahead!
Overnight in Marrakech.
Today, we’ll immerse ourselves in Marrakech's rich history and culture. Our first stop is the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, followed by a visit to the beautiful Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, one of Morocco’s most stunning historical sites. We’ll explore the lush and colorful Majorelle Gardens, designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later owned by Yves Saint Laurent.
Next, we’ll dive into the vibrant heart of the city as we stroll through the bustling souks in the Medina, soaking up the sights, sounds, and aromas of Marrakech’s traditional markets. We’ll finish the tour at the lively Djemaa el Fnaa square, where street performers, food stalls, and market vendors create a truly dynamic atmosphere.
In the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM), we’ll dive into a hands-on cooking class, starting with a visit to a local souk to gather fresh ingredients. With the guidance of an expert chef, we’ll prepare an authentic Moroccan tagine and then enjoy the fruits of our labor at dinner. Alternatively, depending on the group’s preference, we can opt for a street food tour instead, sampling a variety of local delicacies from the vibrant street stalls.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Today, we’ll embark on a scenic journey through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, the highest in Morocco. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages.
Our next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a striking ksar (fortified village) famous for its mud-brick architecture and its appearance in numerous films. We’ll explore the ancient kasbahs and learn about the history of this iconic location.
In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Here, we’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirt, a beautiful historical palace, and explore the town’s connection to the film industry.
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we’ll leave Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” and make our way to the stunning Skoura Oasis. Famous for its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs, Skoura is an oasis of greenery in the arid desert landscape, offering a peaceful contrast to the surrounding wilderness. You’ll have time to explore the winding pathways among the palm trees and visit the Kasbah Amridil, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco, where you'll get a glimpse into the region’s history.
Next, we’ll travel through the fragrant Roses Valley, named after the abundant damask roses that bloom here every spring. Known for its annual Rose Festival, this valley is a picturesque stop, where the surrounding mountains and fields are filled with the scent of roses. We’ll visit a local cooperative to learn about rose water production and perhaps pick up some fragrant rose products.
From there, we’ll enter the scenic Dades Valley, known for its dramatic red-rock gorges and ancient kasbahs. After enjoying the breathtaking landscapes and traditional Berber villages, we’ll arrive at our hotel in the valley for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, we’ll depart from the Dades Valley and head toward Tinghir, a picturesque town known for its stunning palm groves and traditional Berber villages. Our journey continues to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create a dramatic natural setting.
Next, we’ll pass through Erfoud, a gateway to the Sahara, famous for its fossil-rich landscapes. Here, we’ll transition from the mountains to the desert as we make our way to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes in the Sahara Desert.
Enjoy a magical camel ride through the desert at sunset, then arrive at our luxury desert camp for a night of Berber music, a delicious Moroccan dinner, and stargazing in the heart of the Sahara.
After waking up in the Sahara, we’ll enjoy breakfast and bid farewell to the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Our journey begins with a stop in Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional souks and as the birthplace of Morocco’s royal family. You’ll have a chance to explore its vibrant market and learn more about local life in the region.
Next, we’ll travel through the desert landscape to the small town of Alnif, before entering the lush and expansive Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s most scenic regions, filled with endless date palms, ancient kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages.
Our day ends in Agdez, a tranquil town at the edge of the valley, where you’ll settle into your accommodation for the evening, surrounded by beautiful desert landscapes.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our scenic drive back to Marrakech, passing through the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages.
Upon arrival, indulge in the luxurious ritual of a traditional hammam and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time in Marrakech for souvenir shopping or further exploration.

We stay in double-occupancy rooms at 3-star hotels, sharing with other trip members. For the Sahara Desert adventure, you'll experience a stay in a luxury desert camp, complete with well-furnished tents, full beds, private en-suite bathrooms, running water, and electricity for a comfortable yet authentic desert experience.
We do not handle visa arrangements. However, we’re happy to help you gather information about visa requirements based on your nationality for your chosen destination, ensuring you have a clear understanding of what’s needed.
The currency in Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD).

Yes, your money is safe! If the trip is canceled by us, including due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement by the deadline (typically two months before the trip), you'll receive a full refund.
We understand plans can change. A $200 deposit secures your spot, and you can cancel within 72 hours for a full refund. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip. If you cancel 60+ days before, you'll get a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trip are non-refundable.
