Join us on this one-of-a-kind 12-day adventure through Vietnam’s most iconic destinations. ITINERARY
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore nearby sights like Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to meet fellow travelers and enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Today we will explore Hanoi with a morning visit to cultural and historical landmarks, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and Hoan Kiem Lake. In the afternoon, we will have a street food tour wandering the winding streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, tasting authentic treats and dishes and enjoy coffee in the famous Hanoi Train Street. In the evening, we will watch a water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese art form that tells the tale of Hoan Kiem Lake and the giant tortoise.
Check out from Hanoi hotel and embark on a cruise to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll cruise the emerald green waters of Halong Bay, kayak inside Luon Cave and visit Ti Top Island. Join the sunset party and a cooking class to pick up some culinary skills and savor authentic Vietnamese flavors. In the evening, relish a set-menu dinner featuring Vietnamese and Asian delicacies. After dinner, join the crew for a squid fishing outing under the starlit sky. Try your hand at catching fresh squid. After squid fishing, there are various activities to choose from. You can cook and enjoy the fresh squid you caught, play cards with fellow travelers, or unleash your inner rock star at a fun karaoke session. Overnight on cruise in Halong Bay.
Set your alarm early and enjoy the sunrise on the sundeck. Take in the morning view of Halong Bay with a cup of tea or coffee over breakfast. Next, embark on a smaller vessel at Suprise Cave, where you’ll embark on an expedition to uncover the hidden treasures within the exquisite limestone caverns of Halong Bay.
Lunch will be served on the boat as we cruise back to the Halong City pier. From there, we will return to Hanoi. Spend the evening at leisure to explore Hanoi.
Early morning departure to Ninh Binh, a picturesque city known for its stunning landscapes and rich history.
We’ll visit Tam Coc, where we’ll take a sampan boat ride through impressive caves along the Ngo Dong river. Experience local life as we cycle through scenic villages, explore ancient temples, and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, We’ll visit Mua Cave, famous for its intriguing stories and panoramic views. Climb 500 stone steps to witness a breathtaking view of the countryside and the Ngo Dong river. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, where we’ll explore the Dinh and Le king temples from the 10th century and learn about the heroic histories of the two kings during the Chinese Wars. In the evening, we’ll take an overnight bus to Hoi An.
The arrival in Hoi An unveils a town frozen in time, where beautifully preserved colonial buildings and lantern-lit streets set the stage for our adventures. Delve into the rich cultural heritage of Hoi An’s Old Town, meander through ancient temples and iconic sites like the Japanese Covered Bridge. In the evening, enjoy the riverside restaurants come alive, offering a taste of local cuisine while the lantern-lit Thu Bon River adds a touch of magic to the evening. Stroll the quaint streets under the soft glow of lanterns and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hoi An city tour, including visits to local markets, tasting delicious street food, and optional bike rides to nearby villages. Learn how to make a foldable lantern and learn about this important part of Hoi An’s cultural heritage from an instructor. Bring home your very own hand-made souvenir. Make sure to explore the famous town’s tailor shops for custom clothing.
Early morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City where we’ll immerse in its unique blend of cultures. Experience a taste of French influence with delicious iced coffee and pork belly banh mi. Explore the city’s history at the War Remnants Museum, GPO, and Notre Dame Cathedral, before indulging in some shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Conclude the day with a hands-on cooking class, led by an enthusiastic chef, where you’ll learn modern Vietnamese twists on traditional dishes, and savor your culinary creations during dinner.
Depart Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast and journey to the Mekong Delta, renowned as ‘Vietnam’s rice bowl’ for its lush rice paddies, fruit orchards, and flower gardens. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic river cruise, making stops at tropical fruit gardens and local cottage industries, where you’ll savor fresh honey, coconut candy, and fruits at their source. Glide gently along the tranquil backwaters in a traditional sampan, a common mode of transport in this region. Arrive at your homestay and meet your hospitable hosts, with some time to explore the garden, relax, or assist with dinner preparations. Conclude the day with a delightful southern Vietnamese dinner on the spacious veranda, overlooking the garden as the sun sets.
Today we’ll visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
After exploring the tunnels, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City for some last-minute shopping or personal exploration.
Depending on your flight time, enjoy some free time for shopping or leisure. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure.

We stay in double-occupancy rooms at 3-star hotels, sharing with other trip members.

Yes, your money is safe! If the trip is canceled by us, including due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement by the deadline (typically two months before the trip), you'll receive a full refund.
We understand plans can change. A $200 deposit secures your spot, and you can cancel within 72 hours for a full refund. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip. If you cancel 60+ days before, you'll get a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trip are non-refundable. Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, personal injury, medical and repatriation expenses, evacuation, personal liability, and loss of personal property before traveling with us.
