Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our staff, who will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, meet the group and enjoy a traditional Egyptian dinner. Get ready for 12 days of epic adventures ahead!

After breakfast, we will head to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll learn about the incredible history and engineering behind these ancient structures, then continue to the iconic Sphinx, a symbol of Egypt’s enduring mystery.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. You’ll have the chance to see the golden treasures of Tutankhamun, the royal mummies, and statues of pharaohs that have stood the test of time.

In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore Cairo’s vibrant streets. You might want to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the city’s most famous markets. Wander through its bustling alleyways, where you can shop for handcrafted souvenirs, jewelry, spices, and traditional Egyptian wares.

After breakfast, we’ll start the day with a visit to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest stone pyramid. You’ll explore this fascinating necropolis, with its ancient tombs and structures that offer a glimpse into early pyramid design.

Next, we’ll explore Old Cairo, starting with the Hanging Church, one of Egypt’s oldest Coptic churches, followed by the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque, the oldest mosque in Africa.

We’ll continue to Al-Muizz Street, a historic street lined with medieval Islamic architecture, mosques, and hammams.

Afterward, we’ll head to the Saladin Citadel, where you’ll visit the magnificent Mohamed Ali Mosque, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views of Cairo.

In the late afternoon, enjoy some free time before we head to the airport for a night flight to Luxor. After a short flight (about an hour), we’ll transfer to our hotel in Luxor, where you can rest and prepare for the exciting discoveries awaiting you in the ancient city of Thebes!

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set out for a full day of exploration in Luxor, often referred to as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Our first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit several royal tombs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Learn about the fascinating history of the pharaohs and their elaborate burial practices as you explore this ancient necropolis.

Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive mortuary temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Egypt’s first female pharaoh, it features stunning terraced architecture and beautiful reliefs depicting her life and reign.

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll head to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Take in the grandeur of these ancient statues and capture some memorable photos.

In the late afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel to relax. In the evening, you can enjoy a leisurely dinner and perhaps take a stroll along the Nile, soaking in the breathtaking views of the river at sunset.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a visit to Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in the world. Explore its impressive halls, towering columns, and sacred lakes while learning about the significance of this ancient site, dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. You'll be blown away by the massive scale and mind-blowing hieroglyphics—it’s the kind of thing you have to see to believe!

After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll have the afternoon free to relax or explore Luxor on your own. Consider visiting a local market or enjoying dinner at a nearby restaurant, indulging in delicious Egyptian cuisine.

Optional experiences include sunrise hot air balloon rides over the Valley of the Kings and sunset felucca sailing trips on the Nile.

After breakfast, we’ll check out from our hotel and journey south to Aswan, a city known for its stunning Nile scenery and rich history. On the way, we’ll stop to visit the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that transformed Egypt's economy and agriculture. Learn about its significance and the impact it has had on the Nile and the surrounding region.

Next, we’ll take a short boat ride to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Nestled on an island, this beautifully preserved temple complex offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Explore the intricate carvings and learn about the myths and legends associated with this ancient site.

After our visit, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before taking a boat ride to a traditional Nubian village. Experience the vibrant culture, friendly locals, and colorful architecture as you explore this unique community.

In the evening, relax with a scenic felucca ride on the Nile, taking in the beautiful riverside scenery as the sun sets over the water.

After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day excursion to Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological sites. The journey takes about 3 hours each way, but the stunning views of the desert landscape along the way make it worthwhile.

Upon arrival, you'll be awestruck by the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, carved into the mountainside. Discover the incredible history behind these magnificent structures, which were relocated to avoid flooding from Lake Nasser, and admire the impressive colossal statues that stand guard at the entrance. Learn about the fascinating story of their construction and the significance of the temple’s alignment with the sun.

After exploring the temples, enjoy a local lunch before we make our way back to Aswan. Upon returning, you’ll have free time to relax or explore the local markets.

After breakfast, we’ll check out from our hotel in Aswan and travel back to Luxor. Once we arrive, we’ll head to the West Bank to delve deeper into ancient Egyptian history.

Our first stop will be the Valley of the Queens, where you can explore the tombs of the queens of the 19th and 20th dynasties, including the beautiful tomb of Queen Nefertari, known for its stunning wall paintings and intricate details.

Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III. This massive complex is known for its well-preserved reliefs and impressive architecture, giving insight into the life and times of one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Nile, taking in the picturesque views and perhaps stopping for a visit to a local craft workshop to see traditional Egyptian artisans at work.

In the late afternoon, we’ll return to our hotel in Luxor. You’ll have the evening free to unwind, enjoy dinner at your leisure, or explore the vibrant local area.

After breakfast, we’ll check out from our hotel in Luxor and embark on a scenic journey to Hurghada, located on the Red Sea coast. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, during which you'll enjoy views of the beautiful desert landscape.

Upon arrival in Hurghada, you’ll check into your beachfront hotel, where you can unwind and soak in the stunning views of the Red Sea. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring the beach.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local seafood restaurant, where you can indulge in fresh catches and traditional Egyptian dishes while overlooking the sea.

Spend a full day snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, where you'll have the chance to marvel at the vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine wildlife, including tropical fish and possibly dolphins. After a day of underwater exploration, return to your hotel to relax. The evening is at your leisure to unwind by the beach, explore the town, or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your beachfront hotel and spend the day at your own pace. You can choose to relax by the pool or the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene views of the Red Sea.

After breakfast, we’ll check out from our hotel in Hurghada and embark on a scenic journey back to Cairo, a 5-6 hour drive. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have some final time to explore the city or shop for souvenirs. We will then transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure.

The trip starts and finishes in Cairo

Our tours are designed for adventurous travelers aged 18 to 45, with most guests typically between 21 and 35 years old. However, anyone with a sense of adventure is welcome, as long as they are 18 or older!

Each trip typically has between 4 to 15 travelers, allowing for a more personalized and immersive experience.

We stay in double-occupancy rooms at 3-star hotels, sharing with other trip members. In Hurghada, we'll stay at a beachfront resort.

We do not handle visa arrangements. However, we’re happy to help you gather information about visa requirements based on your nationality for your chosen destination, ensuring you have a clear understanding of what’s needed.

Egypt’s currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP), often written as LE. It’s best to carry some cash for small purchases, though credit cards are widely accepted in major cities and tourist areas.

Yes, your money is safe! If the trip is canceled by us, including due to not meeting the minimum participant requirement by the deadline (typically two months before the trip), you'll receive a full refund.

We understand plans can change. A $200 deposit secures your spot, and you can cancel within 72 hours for a full refund. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip. If you cancel 60+ days before, you'll get a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trip are non-refundable. In April, Egypt is warm with cooler evenings, so pack lightweight, breathable clothes like cotton shirts and light pants or skirts, plus a sweater for night. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as are sun protection items like a hat and sunscreen. For visits to religious or historical sites, covering shoulders and knees is recommended.
